Originally from Baltimore, MD, I came to Austin, TX, to achieve a Bachelor's in Piano Performance at the
University of Texas. I went on to attain a Master's in Piano Performance at Texas State. Although I received
my first two degrees in music, I've always been interested in technology. This led me to enroll in the Web Certification
program at Austin Community College (ACC), where I learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In May 2022, I decided to
further my IT education, enrolling in the Associate of Applied Science in Computer Programming - Web Programming Specialization at ACC.
I finished my Associate's degree in May 2023 and now currently work as a Technical Support Specialist with the Housing
Authority of the City of Austin (HACA), working on web development projects in my free time. I will begin to
pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Development in Spring 2025.

Created/updated websites for three clients.
Developed skill with a variety of tools and frameworks

Bootstrap, and WordPress.
I made this site for Georgia Sears, a former co-worker at the Orpheus Academy.
The site was my capstone project for my Web Development Certification. With help from my advisor,
Greg Hervey, I was able to create a professional, well functioning site in just one month.
Photoshop was used for mockups and HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap were used to create the site.
For contact form validation and to email the form data, I used Bootstrap, Javascript, and PHP.

Doss Elementary School
In 2022, Nishi Goel, the president of the Doss Elementary PTA, contracted me for work on Doss's WordPress
website. This included embedding a Google Calendar connected to Konstella, updating the homepage slides using
the Slider Revolution plugin, posting updates from Doss's Principal, and making various changes to menus and
site text. Additionally, I helped to run the school store with WooCommerce, adding new items and creating excel
reports for item distribution. The site can be viewed at

The Austin Hiking Club
The final project for my Advanced WWW Authoring, HTML, and CSS course was to design a website for a fictional
organization of our choice. Being a nature lover, I decided to make a website for the fictional Austin Hiking Club.
The site features video backgrounds of Austin and other natural scenery. The contact form doesn't submit the data anywhere,
as HTML and CSS were the only languages we could use for the exercise. It can be viewed
here.

JavaScript Calculator
This webpage was an Assignment made for my Beginning Web Programming Course I took during my Associate's at ACC.
For this assignment, I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a fully functional math calculator that can
handle a wide variety of operations and equations. The calculator operates using a variety of functions and
event handlers. Users can input numbers and symbols using the on-screen keypad or their own keyboard. It is
on a fictional site called "Math Table" which provides math resources for children. Since the calculator was
the main focus of the assignment, the other links are for display only and don't go anywhere. The webpage
can be viewed here.

Mars
This site was my final project for my Interaction Design course at ACC. With the help of our instructor,
Greg Hervey, students made an informational site about Mars. It features parallax scrolling effects created
with Skrollr.js and can be viewed here.

Interaction Design Exercises
When I finished my Interaction Design course at ACC, the students had to create a directory with links to all
of the completed exercises. The exercises showcase a range of different CSS and JavaScript effects,
like keyframe animations, CSS transitions, and jQuery animations. To make the directory more aesthetically
appealing, I used SASS to create a twinkling stars background. Random numbers were used for the stars'
placement and their twinkling rates. It can be viewed
here.
